Kaname Takada teaches Ceramics at CCAD and has exhibited work in France, New Zealand, Japan, and throughout the United States. His work is represented at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Zanesville Museum of Art, Lamar Dodd Art Center, Ohio Craft Museum, on CCAD's campus, and at other places, both public and private. He has three times won first place in ceramics at the Ohio Show at the Zanesville Museum of Art; twice won a ceramics award at the Spring Show at ArtSpace Lima in Lima, Ohio; and has won the Wooster Functional Ceramics Workshop Award of Excellence.
Takada earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts from CCAD in 1989 and a Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts and Ceramics from the University of Notre Dame in 1992.
