Joe Kovach is an award-winning illustrator, painter and designer with over 25 years of experience as an educator and 40 years of creative collaboration with clients. Kovach currently teaches at all levels within the Illustration and First-Year Experience programs and has been active in curriculum development during his tenure at CCAD. His clients include Sony, Scholastic, American Greetings, Dolby, Harvard Business Review, The Franklin Mint, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers Entertainment, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Mr. Coffee, Proctor and Gamble, Homedics, United Airlines, United States Air Force, Sunmaid, and King Features Syndicate, among others. His work has been included in Spectrum Annual of Contemporary Fantastic Art and Illuxcon, as well as exhibited nationally and abroad, including at the United Nations, Society of Illustrators, and Dimensions ’07 in Hong Kong, China. Kovach earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from CCAD in 1985 and a Master of Science in Marketing and Communications from Franklin University in 2010.
