COLUMBUS, Ohio—CCAD is celebrating artists of all ages with three in-person events this March and April. Whether it’s a young, aspiring artist who just picked up a paintbrush, an alumni who’s been making art for years, or a student somewhere in-between, CCAD offers programs to help artists unleash their creative power.

From traditional media and practices such as photography, painting, and ceramics to the use of such unexpected materials as cleansing towelettes and hair extensions, this year's master's degree candidates have tapped into wide-ranging resources in the creation of their pieces. Expect to see such themes as ecosystems, beauty and destruction, chronic illness, mental illness, grief, the passage of time, Black culture, and the body as a living history in their works.
