Artist Statement
As an artist, I work with recycled and discarded materials like wood, paper, plastic, and spray paint to highlight the often overlooked value in what we consider waste. Through my art, I transform these materials into an exploration of consumption through abstraction. I promt viewers to question their perceptions and thoughts on detritus in our lives. This practice comes Naturally to me; I internalize the impact of waste and consumerism, seeking ways to express my creativity using natural and recycled materials. Abstractionis central to my work; the ambiguity invites viewers to confront their uncertainty about what they are witnessing, leaving viewers to question what they see.
