Healing Broken Circles Presents: The BackWall

In collaboration with Restored Citizens Collaborative during reentry week, The BackWall is a space that is deepening the conversation around mass incarceration through the lens of the arts, while sharing dope art and creating community.

Healing Broken Circles is a Columbus-based non-profit providing opportunities to heal, learn and thrive for those of us impacted by the justice system. We create new and unprecedented educational, artistic, and transformative opportunities, so that people are better able to live, wherever that may be, as healthy and contributing members of their communities. Our work is steeped in the understanding that uplifting the voices, stories, talents, skills, expertise and the strong sense of purpose of people who are incarcerated and formerly incarcerated promotes equity, empathy, and builds healthier communities for us all.

Join us for an evening of food, music, stories, and spoken word by artists deeply impacted by mass incarceration.
