Scholarships
We call them scholarships.
You’ll call them difference makers.
Scholarships are a vital component of your success at CCAD, because they help reduce financial pressure and enable you to focus on what’s important. Your classroom work. Your studio time. Your future.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you have questions in addition to those addressed here, we encourage you to reach out to the CCAD Admissions Office.
Scholarships are free money, provided to students based on several different factors:
Merit - GPA is the best indicator for success in college, we review your cumulative GPA to help determine your merit scholarship level.
Artistic Talent- your portfolio is a representation of you. We use the work in your portfolio to help determine the level of your merit scholarship.
Scholarships do not have to be paid back, but typically do have a minimum GPA you must keep to renew your award.
Scholarships are renewable each year, and generally remain the same amount throughout your time at CCAD.
You can be awarded more than one scholarship and you do not have to apply for these awards at CCAD.
When you apply to CCAD, you automatically apply for CCAD merit scholarships. If you want to apply for the Diversity Impact Scholarship, a separate essay is required.
Merit scholarships recognize your talent. And reward you for it.
The most meaningful aspect of being awarded a merit scholarship? You earned it.
